Oakland (Away)
Good win last night!  We finally get our bats to wake up late.  Pitching and defense were outstanding!

We must continue each day to get better in every aspect of our game as a team.  We must run bases and use our speed.  We must get the bunts down and put pressure on other teams.  We must execute offensively.  We must become a defensive machine.  These things will take us where we want to be.

Remember:  the goal is Starplex field 1 in May!  Nothing and I mean Nothing can dter us from that goal!!!!!!!!!

On another note, I am very disturbed about something that has been called to my attention.  This really has nothing to do with softball, but has to do with right and wrong.  In our organization we have men that are fighting for our freedom in Iraq and Afganistan right now as we speak.  We have dads, brothers, and friends that are keeping the American values alive and are fighting the wrongs in the middle east.  When the national anthem is played at each of our games, it is a symbol of the freedom we take for granted each day.  I expect that each time the national anthem is played you will from now on show the respect to flag that is deserved.  There should be no talking, laughing, giggeling, or messing with each other of any kind.  If need be, I can come down close to homeplate and stand like you are in the 2nd grade.  Have some respect for your country and the men and women who are protecting it!

Good luck in your preparation for today!

until next time, GATA!
